About

A small studio building the boring Shopify apps merchants actually keep.

Advira is an independent software studio. We build focused back-office apps for Shopify stores, each one doing a single job well, at a flat price you can read before you install. That is the whole company.

Who is behind it

Founder-run, not a faceless SaaS

Advira is run by its founder, Ole J. Blom, and is based in Norway. It started in 2026 with a simple observation: a lot of Shopify apps solve a real problem, then bury it under bloat, creeping permissions, and pricing that meters you the moment you grow. The tools merchants keep are the ones that do one job, ask for the least access, and cost what they say they cost.

So that is what we build. The first app, LabelFast, prints barcode labels with quantities that come from your live stock on hand, and it is live on the Shopify App Store today. Restockly, Madestock, and Returnwell are on the way, each one narrow on purpose.

When you email support, you reach the person who wrote the code. There is no support tier, no ticket queue theater, and no account manager who has never seen the product.

What we are not

Not an AI platform. A back-office toolmaker.

To be clear, because the name gets confused: Advira is not an AI assistant, a chatbot, or a general productivity suite. We build inventory, labeling, and operations apps that install into a Shopify store and do a specific, unglamorous job. Barcode labels. Reorder points. Cost per unit. Returns. That is the entire scope, and we like it that way.

What we believe

Six things that shape every app

One job, done well

Every app does a single thing a merchant actually needs, without the bloat. LabelFast prints labels. Restockly tells you what to reorder. No suites, no upsell maze.

Flat pricing that stays flat

Prices are published on every product page with a written promise: we do not change the billing metric under you, and what is included will not shrink for existing installs.

Least access by default

Apps ask for the narrowest Shopify permissions that do the job. LabelFast is read-only unless you choose to generate SKUs or barcodes. Your store data is yours.

Honest comparisons

When we compare against another app, we cite only dated, published facts and mark anything we cannot source. No invented numbers, no straw men.

Support from the person who built it

Email [email protected] and you reach the maker, not a tier-one script. Same-day human replies on working days.

Built to be boring

These are back-office tools. They should be reliable, predictable, and quiet, the way a good label printer is. That is the whole goal.
