Privacy Policy — Madestock
Madestock is in active development. This policy applies from its public launch and describes how the app handles data.

Madestock is a Shopify app from Advira that helps you track raw materials, product recipes, production runs, and cost per unit. This policy explains what the app accesses, why, how it is stored, and the choices you have.
What Madestock accesses
To do its job, Madestock reads the following from your Shopify store through the Admin API:
- Product and variant details (titles, SKUs)
- Inventory levels and inventory items
What Madestock stores
- Your raw materials, product recipes (bills of materials), and production-run logs
- Cost data and computed cost per unit
- A Shopify session token used to authenticate your store
Reading and writing
When you log a production run, Madestock can update the related inventory and cost figures for the products you track. It requests write access only for the products and inventory you choose to manage.
Customer data
Madestock does not collect or store your customers' personal data. It works with product, inventory, and store operational data only.
Where data is stored
App data is hosted on infrastructure in the European Union. It is encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS.
Third parties
- Shopify, which provides the store data through its Admin API and processes billing.
- The hosting provider that runs the application and its database.
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Retention and deletion
When you uninstall Madestock, its data for your store is deleted, and we honour Shopify's shop-redaction request by removing any remaining records. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the data held about you or your store. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will respond within one business day.
